Bob's Ska Radio, BSR, was started in 2008 by Ska Bob. It is an online station that has listeners in countries all over the world. It is available though many methods including standard computers using players like I-Ttunes, Winamp or Windows Media Player(when using listening on the WMA stream) and on stand alone internet radios. It also is available on mobile devices like the IPad, cell phones including IPhone, Andriod, Sidekick, Blackberry, Nintendo DS and many other smart phones/devices that support Shoutcast or Windows Media. By using an AUX input or Line Input or stereo bluetooth adapter you can listen from a cell phone on to a home or car radio.

BSR plays all Jamaican inspired music ranging from traditional 1960's ska and rocksteady to the latest wave(whatever number they are on) to reggae rock, dancehall, dub and ska/punk. There is no requirment of a specific spoken language to recieve airplay, therfore it's not uncommon to hear French, Spanish or a number of other language songs. The station can be fully automated, live hosted by Bob or play pre-recorded hosted programs. The station has been running 24/7 with over 99.9% uptime since 2008. Requests can be made anytime and can either be fully automated or listeners can leave message on a chat box or facebook page and Bob will play them as soon as possible.

Currently on Saturdays at 6pm Pacific Time Bob's Ska Radio plays a pre-recorded live hosted show called SKA-Nanigans, dj'd by Steaming Heathen. Each day at 12 Noon & Midnight Pacific Time there is a 30 minute + / - set of all ska cover songs, many not on the main playlist and do not played at other times.

The website also has a growing video section, titled Bob's Ska Videos, of bands he has recorded. Many videos have been done with a multicamera setup and soundboard audio, providing much better results than many youtube videos shot on single cameras, digital cameras or cell phones. Some of more well know bands Bob has videoed have been The Toasters, Easy Big Fella (2011 Seattle reunion), Monkey, Chris Murray, The Diablotones, Tomorrows Bad Seeds along with a large number of local bands. Some of the bands have agreeded to the audio from these live recording being played on-air exclusivly on BSR and are not avaliable for listening on any other sites.

The station receives new music directly from bands or labels from many countries and Ska Bob purchases several albums per month to keep the music fresh. Submission information is on the Radio FAQ page.
