Time to Renew was a ska punk group based in Orange County, California, that was active from 2009 to 2011.
Lineup
Edit
The band was formed in 2009 by former members Peter Stoia and Evan Wohrman, on guitar and vocals, respectively. They then recruited friends Loren "Gordo" Gamarra on trumpet and Nikki Klein on drums. Gamarra then brought in fellow Cal State Fullerton students Tony Fuller on trombone and Dave Schwartze on trumpet to round out the horn section. After a long search for a bassist, Anthony Rondina joined the band as his band The Guilty Parties began preparing for their final show. Rondina also became a member of Half Past Two. However, in August 2010, Rondina would amicably part ways with Time to Renew in order to follow an educational career. Rondina performed a final show with the band on August 15, 2010, in Riverside, California. Abi Zambrano, who previously filled in for Rondina for a Time to Renew performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim, was then called upon to take over bass duties. Nikki Klein, Peter Stoia, and Evan Wohrman left the band on November 27, 2010, forming a new group, Hooray for Our Side.
